I'm a high school student, and I was recently thinking about DNA supercoiling in chromosomes.
I was wondering if (and I apologize for my lack of mathematics vocabulary) a three-dimensional fractal could be constructed from infinitely supercoiled helixes. I asked my teacher, and she said something about "hypercomplex systems". Google searches have done little. Could anyone please explain this, or maybe post an informative link?
