You could get the poster that a good friend of mine has framed in his living room. Makes you think about the good and bad sides of human technological advancement. The more we futher our understanding of how the world around us works, the more doors it opens up which could potentially lead us to our demise

Quintessential science poster:

It's not just a snarky comment. There's a 'science has the last word' depth to it, if you care to look into it a bit.

Gorgeous! Nikon should create a calendar with those and give them away at their booths at conferences.

 I had that poster in my room, it had the following quote on it:

"He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice. This disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, senseless brutality, deplorable love-of-country stance, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be a part of so base an action! It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder.
— Albert Einstein"

You have a picture of a porn addict? Man, you must be a very popular gal online.

You have a picture of a porn addict? Man, you must be a very popular gal online. And I'm brilliant because I had a poster of Einstein, nice logic

(the posters are gone btw, I'm now in the business of collecting nice paintings from garage sales)

...nice paintings from garage sales

Isn't that an oxymoron?

Back in grad school, I always loved seeing what paintings/drawing showed up framed in the thrift (or the dumpster).

Isn't that an oxymoron? That's the whole game: finding fine specimens among the junk. When I buy a house (some time in the future) I want to buy a large painting that would compliment the living room wall, but right now I'm satisfied with collection of smaller paintings

I use that one in one of my lectures. Unfortunately, the students remembered the picture, but not which cranial nerve was being demonstrated as intact and functioning correctly. You'd think between that photo and me telling them that they could officially stick their tongue out at their professor when I asked them what the function of CN XII was would get it to stick in their heads better. And you all thought physics had nothing to do with biology.

And I'm brilliant because I had a poster of Einstein, nice logic :rolleyes:Heh. No. The logic went:
You like porn addicts. Therefore many online porn addicts will want to be your friend.
