In summary, it is possible for an ex-physicist to revive their knowledge after a career change. While their skills and knowledge may have become rusty, with dedication and effort, they can catch up with new developments in the field and regain their expertise. Additionally, transferable skills gained from their previous career can also be valuable in their new field, making the transition smoother. It may require additional education and training, but it is achievable for an ex-physicist to revive their knowledge and continue to contribute to the field of physics.

Hello, I'm an animator working in the field of videogames. However before taking a U-turn in my career, I got an MPhys degree in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Manchester.

Lately I've wanted to get my brain back into Physics mode and recapture some of the knowledge that has fallen out of it in the 11 years since I graduated.
