In summary, according to a close friend, Bill Clinton is interested in taking over UN Secretary General Kofi Annan's position when his term ends in 2006. However, it is not legally possible for someone from a permanent member country of the security council to hold this position. Some speculate that Clinton may move to Canada instead.
