In summary, the high scores on this game are likely based on people taking screenshots and sending them in.

Tried a few more times, and was only able to get 70m

I got to 61 within my first 10 tries, and that has been my best. Have some beer and try later!

The record can't be 82. I think it's a nice lie to keep you playing till you beat it.

Done, I just got 93.

That's true. It would've been nice with a list of real top scores.

Hehe... thanks. On the other hand, it also shows the number of people wasting time on this.

Wow those scores are insane! I just got 82

It took a little over 25 seconds to walk 50m, so that means, assuming speed is constant here, that the top score took nearly 85mins!

Well of course the high scores are based on people taking screenshots and sending them in.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of those submitted doctored screenshots or just downloaded, decompiled, and edited the program to display a high score.

Yeah, I agree that sounds rather suspicious.

the problem with this is that my mouse is leaving the active area and I die...

Anybody notice an advantage with an optical mouse vs roller ball vs touch pad vs joy stick? I don't have a joy stick so I don't even know if one could do that game with one.

  • #22
At around 78ish, he just falls one direction, even though I move my mouse as fast as I can all the way to the other side... or even if I do it slowly, etc.../
