Does anyone know what theyre talking about here, link below:
Too scared of the pictures to read the article, but can't stop trying to figure out what the article is about. Are they saying that it is a breed of shark, and they all look this way, or are they saying that there is one specific shark that is a mutant, and the rest of the speciese of them have 2 eyes?

FAQ: Shark cyclops article , wondering what they mean? (Link)

What is a shark cyclops?

A shark cyclops is a rare genetic mutation in sharks where the animal has only one eye, instead of the typical two. This mutation can occur in any species of shark, but is most commonly seen in large bony fish.

How does a shark cyclops survive in the wild?

Survival for a shark cyclops can be challenging, as having only one eye can affect their depth perception and hunting abilities. However, some individuals have been observed living in the wild, suggesting that they are able to adapt and survive despite their mutation.

Is a shark cyclops dangerous to humans?

There is no evidence to suggest that a shark cyclops is any more dangerous to humans than a typical shark. Like all sharks, they may attack if provoked, but there is no evidence that their mutation makes them more aggressive or dangerous.

How common is the shark cyclops mutation?

The shark cyclops mutation is extremely rare, with only a few documented cases in the wild. It is estimated that the mutation occurs in less than 1% of shark populations, making it a very uncommon occurrence.

What causes the shark cyclops mutation?

The exact cause of the shark cyclops mutation is still unknown. It is believed to be a result of a genetic defect or environmental factors during embryonic development. However, more research is needed to fully understand the cause of this rare phenomenon.
