In summary, a group is planning a trip on a bus to various cities in the US, with pick up points along the interstate and a final destination at Tom's house in New York. The bus will also make a slight detour to pick up a passenger in the French Alps. Things to bring include food and drinks, and the dress code is flexible. The date is yet to be determined, but they plan to make a New Year's party on the way. There is also a discussion about a possible PF cyber jet and a BBQ in Oregon after the party at Tom's. One member suggests taking the scenic route through San Francisco instead of driving through the desert.

Doesn't this contradict the general idea of the earlier parts of the thread? (the drunkenness part anyway) I got the impression that the point here was experimentation on the effects of the consumption of large quantities of (good!) champagne on travel at supersonic velocities...
I just hope when you get back to Ohio your city isn't GONE!
Well, even if it isn't, at least it will have been 2000 miles.

To hell with my party, that bus is nicer than my apartment. Just pick me up and we'll keep on swingin' around the country until we run out of gas.

Oh, and don't follow my directions to Roanoke. Gokul has pointed out to me that I'm confusing 68 and 64 (and a few other missed steps along the way). Just subtract 4 and add 77 to my directions and Gokul and I are in agreement. :biggrin: Then again, when traveling at Mach 2, 70 just might bend down to meet 64. :smile: Then again, Tsu doesn't really drive on the roads, so who cares. We'll make great time just going as the crow flies!

It is kind of cold, so I had to open the second bottle of champagne (out of the 24 bottles box :-p )

Drink one more and spread the bottles around a little bit... that was what I do.

:cry: I tripped over an empty champagne bottle, got tangled up in my wedding dress. humanino escaped (boy can he run fast :bugeye:). Now I'm limping home alone, skinned my knee, broke the heel off my shoe :cry: (sounds similar to what happened to Artman on Halloween night).

Alright, no more champagne for anyone until the trip on Christmas Day!
