In summary, a small software update is scheduled for Thursday night at 10PM CST for GDPR compliance. After the update, users will be presented with a screen to accept the updated guidelines and privacy policy, which can be reviewed in advance. Ran into a little snag which if you are reading this logged it you've already figured out. We need to move the rules and privacy policy to the Help section which won't trigger the "check" screen.

Will the update affect our current data or website functionality?

The update should not have a significant impact on current data or website functionality. However, there may be some minor changes in how data is collected and stored, and users may need to provide consent again for certain data processing activities.

Is the update necessary for all websites or just for those in the European Union?
