World's First Facebook Wedding: Join Melissa and Niccole in Bermuda!

In summary, a Facebook wedding invite was sent out for a destination wedding in Bermuda on July 9th. The bride is also planning a bachelorette trip with a few friends and invites others to join if interested. The groom may not be aware of this invitation and the person receiving it is unsure if they are wanted to attend. It seems like a personal invitation, but the relationship between the sender and receiver has deteriorated in recent years. There is a possibility that the bride is expecting gifts from attendees. Overall, the receiver is not likely to attend the wedding.

World's First...

Facebook wedding invite:
hey guys,

just wanted to let you know some info...i know this is kind of short notice and alittle unrealistic for some people but we decided to go away for our wedding...alittle cheaper for the parents and a lot more fun than the traditional church/reception wedding. soooo...we decided on Bermuda on July 9th. Amanda, Niccole and I are flying out the sunday before July 5th because we have off all summer and to have a bachelorette type thing and then staying until the 12th. If you guys are at all interested in attending then let me know and i can send you hotel info and all that. hope you guys are well and hope to see you soon! love,
melissa
I'm thinking she doesn't really want me (us) to go...

We used to be pretty close friends, but that fell apart a few years ago.

Ahhh... sounds like she's trolling for gifts. Run away.

Trolling for gifts or just trying to make herself feel like she isn't blowing me off. Either way, no, I don't think I'm going.
