just found out there are videos here, and i use this same technique film my own visuals. i never thought of using melting ice, i use various plastics and see-through tapes to create different patterns / colours. very cool :)
i will also start posting up some of my visual films here as well (evolving video feedback fractal patterns, additive and subtractive light painting, laser diffraction textures mixed with polarized light sources like above; lots of science techniques to create new interesting art) ^^
