i have no idea how to do these questions, and was wondering if you guys could help out:
a m1=16.6kg mass and a m2=10.6kg mass are suspended by a pulley that has a radius of R=11.1cm and a mass of M= 3.20kg... The cord has a negligible mass and causes the pullet to rotate without slipping. The...
I have this question about partial pressure, and I'm not entirely sure what it is, and how to solve for it...

I do think I am insane, yes, but would not like to use your crazy methods. Is there a way to use kinetic/potential energy and W=Fad to find the distance.

The ramp and the ledge which the box sits on is has a Mu(k) of 0... the spring compression of the block when released from rest is 98cm... i found the height of the ramp being 29m, and the speed at the top of the ramp being 11.8.. i just need help...
Hey all, I'm having some problems with this one homework question... We just did The Intersection of Three Planes using The augmented matrix... and here's my question...
For what value of k will the following set of planes intersect in a line?
x - 2y - z = 0
x + 9y - 5z = 0
kx - y + z = 0
oops here...
A point charge of 3.8x10^-6 is placed 0.20 m to the right of a charge of -2.0x10^-6. What is the force on a third charge of 2.3x10^-6 if it is placed
d) Where would the third charge experience a net force of zero?
i got the answers for a), b) and c).. just need help on d)...
HEHE me again.. i was going to post this Q in the same thread as the last, but i didn't think you guys would see it...
here's the Q... A point charge of 3.8x10^-6 is placed 0.20 m to the right of a charge of -2.0x10^-6. What is the force on a third charge of 2.3x10^-6 if it is placed where...
why did you square the 1.602x10^-19... like i would understand that to substitute that into q1, but why q2 also?? This is basically why i was having problems with the question.. if i knew you could use the same value for both q1 and q2 i would have never asked this...
BTW that is the right...
