Agreed, I suppose I'm just being narrow minded at the moment as I am trying to self teach C++ and not doing too bad, but just want to make sure that all my hard work now wouldn't be wasted if I realize I won't be needing it or using it on my course. But I do understand what you mean.

hmm, that is food for thought, considering the only real thing I am interested in is programming and AI design. Would you however know if the C++/code learned could be extrapolated into another job, e.g. software engineering?
