If we could move the Earth, how far away from the Sun would it need to be to maintain a temperature similar to what we have now when it becomes a red giant?
How large would the Sun apear in the sky?
Would the sky still be blue?
Would everything have a red tint to it?

I do not understand. I realize that it will never reach the speed of light but I do not understand how it will be just as far removed from the speed of light as it was before it started to accelerate.
If a spaceship was to accelerate forever, at a constant rate that allowed the pilot to feel 1g, would he still feel 1g when the spaceship was close to the speed of light?
I know that it will never reach the speed of light so the acceleration must slow as the ship speeds up, so I assume that...
OK thanks. Can you explain the meters per second per second to me. I searched the web and found formulas but no examples.
Meters divided by time divided by time again. Can you give me an example of this formula with actual numbers?
I read that a spaceship can reach 5,100g in space. Is there a way to determine how many kilometers per hour this would be? As I understand it, the only way to feel g force is to be accelerating. The acceleration should slow down as speed increases and eventually stop so there would be 0g at...
