Which Metal Stays Cooler on Spoon Handles: Aluminum or Steel?

If you want to do an experiment, get some aluminium piece and heat it up for let's say 30Seconds and measure with a thermometer, then do the same with the steel piece. If you just want to know which one has better heat transfer. check the following link No need to do anything, its already...

    Power generation with peizoelectricity

I know that in Japan, for study purposes, piezoelectric sensors have been installed on tokyo station in high traffic areas to generate electricity. Doesn't generate neither volume or good cost, just study. They look like regular soft tiles and it generates energy while people walk through them.

Can Anyone Succeed in Engineering with Hard Work and Practice?

Im an engineer, and a dumb one. Im neither good at math nor good at physics i make lots of mistakes and i always correct them if i can. but I almost never do the same mistake twice. (I'm not so smart so sometimes i forget) You can't say you are good at math and not good at physics. you can say...

    Dust aluminium atracted to magnet

That might be true, Iron would make magnetic, i wonder how much content of Iron the Aluminium foil has?. how did you make the test? You need to have both magnet and aluminium foil still. otherwise you will generate eddy currents, that will make the aluminium foil temporarily magnetic and...

Removing air from water using vacuum

I think the tree is the problem. I would use a humidity Thermal Chamber (See ESPEC) and put the tree inside the chamber for some time with high humidity to allow the tree to absorb moisture(something like 8hrs or so, depending on the material.) or boil the tree for some time at arround 50~60...

    Dust aluminium atracted to magnet

Paramagnetic materials generate currents when a magnet moves near it, but would this be enough for the aluminium to hold to the magnet if its small enough?

    Dust aluminium atracted to magnet

Well, balloons are not conductive, actually not even dissipative, charge doesn't go anywhere in balloons, unless you increase the air moisture.

    Photoelectric effect, and sunlight.

Visible light cant. X-ray i think can knock out an electron of almost everything. The problem is if they can get to your metal. most of UV and higher get blocked by the atmosphere.

    Dust aluminium atracted to magnet

If this was electric static wouldn't the aluminium foil be released as soon as it touches the magnet? to attrack objects by electric static they need to have oposite charge, once they touch both materials are conductive, and should neutralize the charge, but they stay attached even if waved...

    Dust aluminium atracted to magnet

Hi Sorry I'm not good in physics at all. I have the following dust problem becoming attached to Nickel coatings. from what i know Nickel can become magnetic but aluminium should not be attracted to magnets. I did an experiment to confirm if the nickel coat is acting as magnet in...
