u bought a car and u need to call up a friend (in a different city) and describe the car to him in details. So you convey to him all classical information about the car - like its shape, size colour etc. with a good description your friend can even make a good replica of it at his location. this...
Is it true that there always exist a unitary matrix that can take a state vector of an arbitrary pure state to another arbitrary pure state ? (of course assuming same hilbert space). If true, how do we prove it ? it look like it is true via geometrical arguments but i have not been able to...
given an sop form of a multi variable boolean expression, how to judge if it is linear or not?
is (x or y) linear?
more generally, can a function be linear with an and in sop form?
I wanted to know if there is any way of classifying the set of all non-linear multivariable functions. I wish to analyse something over all possible non linear functions with 4 variables. In fact these variables are binary variables. for example f(x,y,u,v)= x.y - u\oplusv
thanks for the replies... i think the magnification factor isn't that bad but objective lens aperture is too small to allow much of light to enter.. :(
I haven't ever used a telescope. I wanted to know about this one. Like what all can we see using it ? like which planets/moons, if at all ? link for the particular telescope is

we can calculate the refractive index of liquids like water using a converging lens and mirror by the standard method . r.index of water is less than that of lens(glass) . now taking mercury, whose r.index is > glass, can we do the same experiment and find its r.index ?
i believe the answer...
