If f(x)= 2x+5, g(x)=0.5 and h(x)=3-1
find:
fg(x), gf(x), fh(3)
fg(x)
fg(x)= 2(0.5x)+5
fg(x)= x+5
gf(x)= 0.5(2x+5)
= x+2.5
fh(3)
fh (x) =2(3-1)+5
= 6-2+5
= 4+5
this last part of the question been puzzling me... could I get a little...
Homework Statement
find the equation of the straight line which is parallel to the line 3y+4x=6 and passes through the point F (1,7)
Homework Equations
The Attempt at a Solution
3y= -4x + 6
y= -4/3x + 2
im not sure what I am doing...im i on the right track
Homework Statement
find the equation of the straight line which is perpendicular to the line 5x-3y-6=0 and passes through the point (-3,4)
Homework Equations
The Attempt at a Solution
-3y=-5x+6
where do i go from there
