I would like to know more about the beginning of time in terms of entropy. How can we explain the formation of a more ordered universe from a more ordered condensed structure that exploded and evolved to what the universe is right now? Where did the gravity come from and what is it's effect in...

Measuring the State of Photons: Determining Mixed & Pure States

Suppose we have a photon whose polarization state is unknown, what measurement can be done to determine the state of that photon? How many times are we supposed to make the measurement in order to confirm our results? How can we distinguish a mixed state to a pure state?

Comparing Large & Small Bodies Using Gravity & Surface Tension

When i saw this question i realized that if someone asked me what a large and small body is, i wouldn't have a specific answer. I just think that large and small depend on a reference you have given yourself.

Comparing Large & Small Bodies Using Gravity & Surface Tension

I didn't refer to the bond number in my post. Suppose u have the surface tension of water maybe at normal temperature, and u are to use it to find a scale that separates large to small bodies, for you to do that u first have to know what a large scale and a small scale body is and then proceed.

Comparing Large & Small Bodies Using Gravity & Surface Tension

Can somebody tell me how to differentiate a large scale to a small scale? I want to know what he/she is based on. What if you had to compare the scale of large and small bodies using gravity and surface tension, what would be your first move?

    Relativistic Momentum and energy conservation

hello! the relative velocity in the frame where the two masses have equal velocities(.8c) and different directions is aproximatly(.97c). in the frame where one mass is at rest the velocity of the moving one is equal to the relative velocity(.97c). now if we compare the two energies in frame 1...

    Relativistic Momentum and energy conservation

u'=(u-v)/(1-uv/c^2), where u' and u are speeds of the body in different frames and v their relative velocity. for viewer 1. P1+P2=P3 from momentum conservation but P1=-P2, then P3=0 E1+E2=E3 from energy conservation but E1=E2; 2E1=E3; for viewer 2. P1'=P3' since P2' is zero...

    Relativistic Momentum and energy conservation

Hello everyonea. I was studying special relativity and i got stuck on an example. Here it is:'to an observer, two bodies of equal rest mass collide head on with equal but opposite velocities 0.8c and cohere. To a second observer, one body is initially at rest. Find the apparent velocity of the...

Writing a Program to Calculate yn+1 for n=100

i have the above using for loop without declaring any fuction, if someone knows how to solve it including user defined function then he might be able to help me. thank you! the one i wrote is showed below #include<stdio.h> #include<math.h> #include<stdlib.h> main() {...

Writing a Program to Calculate yn+1 for n=100

    can somebody help me on writting a program that displays yo to yn+1 when n=100 and store them in a file. y"=cos(t)*y+y y(0)=1 y'(0)=0 h=0.1 y'=z z'=z'*cos(t)+y yn+1=zn+h*zn*(cos(tn))+yn) tn=t+nh

What is the Correct Way to Initialize a Character in C Programming?

I saw where i was making an error. i corrected and while initialising the character i defined as an array and that way in the printf and scanf functions instead of using %c i used %s.after that the program is compiled and run without complications

What is the Correct Way to Initialize a Character in C Programming?

the foolowing program is to read inputed data and display them all at once but when i run it it asks for the first information and then runs the total program without asking for the input of other information.after that it doesn't respond and closes immediatelly. can someone help me and tells...
