    Physical laws are they material?

Thanks for reply,,, I think that laws just describe what we see, more precisely what we observe. It is their job , to describe what we observe. Ok,,, That's what I wanted to debate, that we don't need to adopt deeper interpretations for physics laws , because they are , to some extent...

    Physical laws are they material?

Physical laws ... are they material?! There was an old question about physical laws , where do they come from? as they are considered separated from the material of the universe. Of course I know that they are produced by the human brain or human consciousness (which is material in turn) , but...

Are the Laws of the Universe Influenced by the Structure of Our Brains?

Is it absurd to say that the physical laws of our universe are related to the structure or design of our brains more than our actual universe? If our brains had have other designs (whatever they were) , would then have been other theories and laws of the universe?

Question: What is the Universe Expanding Into?

That I wanted to say dear Tanelorn, so I put the function f(x) = 1/x at points x = zero , and y = zero as a resembling case to the singularity under study ! Notice that we can calculate the area under the curve from x=0 until x = a, but the curve cannot reach the y-axis even it is getting...

Question: What is the Universe Expanding Into?

Although this is an other point may seem metaphysical more than physical, but according to the philosophy of uncertainty principle we may say that the observer of the physical experiment is a part of it, because without the observer, the experiment has no meaning. The evidence is in general...

Question: What is the Universe Expanding Into?

Thanks for reply, friends. I really enjoyed all of what was written here, and I admire your minds and way of thinking. I think the age of the universe is not actually finite, because we can't achieve the beginning point of the big bang, because it is not definite ! If we were going...

Uncertainty should be called as unpredictability

Yes the new suggested name for uncertainty might be suitable for if we used classical mechanics (Newtonian physics ) , because events would have been inevitable and could be predicted completely (supposing we have the equations and mathematics which can solve them)

Question: What is the Universe Expanding Into?

It may be a silly question , but sometimes I ask it to myself : If the universe is expanding , throw what is it expanding ? There is no "place" because the place itself is expanding , and there is nothing at all , so how can galaxies become far and far from each other ? If the place is the...

Uncertainty should be called as unpredictability

this is related to the philosophy of quantum mechanics , because according to quantum theory if we can't predict the event exactly with the help of any theory or equation the event then will be uncertain. The uncertainty there is related to the nature of the universe not to the tools we use to...

Can Negative Time Alter Our Understanding of Physics?

I read that there is two kinds of time : past time which has the value of -it future time which has the value of +it and by the multiplication of them we obtain the square of our present time which we live in ! Time is deeply connected to the concept of Entropy which is "time...

What would the universe be like if c were not uniform

If the speed of light was not uniform , the relation between time and space which was constructed in the relativity theory will be destroyed and we will get an absolute space and absolute time. This constant value of the speed of light is the real deep link between Time "t" and Position "x"...
