    Electrical Powering 10 Lasers with a 6V 500mA Adapter

as I've mentioned i don't really know anything about lasers so don't take my word for it.

    Electrical Powering 10 Lasers with a 6V 500mA Adapter

i think that should answer it doesn't it? i don't know much abt lasers but it seems to be as good an answer as any... i think you should just string em together in series and put em right into your power source, use one variable resistor to adjust the current to be sure you don't blow...

    Electrical Powering 10 Lasers with a 6V 500mA Adapter

lol... idiot indeed... and actually this friend of yours could have permanent damage to their eye's already and just not realize it, that's often the case with laser burned eyes, the damage is just not always in their direct line of sight so they can't tell but its still there... if you(or...

    Electrical Powering 10 Lasers with a 6V 500mA Adapter

what exactly are you doing anyway? Are you trying to make a laser system that you'd find in a club or something like that or what?

    Electrical Powering 10 Lasers with a 6V 500mA Adapter

ive taken one of those laser pointers and powered it from a rectified 300v transformer, also powered it from my phone battery charger, from what i can tell the input power makes no difference on the beam, i really don't know anything abt lasers but those were my own observations... just string...

Change 24v to 12v DC: Simple Way

why are there 2 of this thread?

Change 24v to 12v DC: Simple Way

really? not according to the formula V=ir... although through energy loss i can see how but that doesn't seem like a very good way to do it.

Impedance of Coil - Why Does Impedance Increase?

eh?... not only capacitors have capacitance you know. any conductor has capacitance as any conductor can store energy. now that capacitance may be minimal but it is still there. some capacitors are made with coils too (the coils being the plates on each side of the insulator), the idea is that...

Change 24v to 12v DC: Simple Way

? resistors won't lower your voltage, they lower current.

    A/C, are the british different?

ok, well id like to figure out what we are on here in singapore, ill go grab a multimeter and figure it out... if one of the outputs has been grounded so as to act as a neutral then either that or the ground wire should be interchangeable by right but i do see the purpose of having both...

Maximizing Dipole Electromagnet Strength: Coiling Methods Compared

by winding in the same sense do you mean keeping the field in the same direction by swapping winding directions? otherwise i don't understand... ...oooh high frequency coils...(thinking of my TC)

    A/C, are the british different?

I'm abit confused, I've been dealing with electricity for ages and I've always understood alternating current to have 2 altenating live wires and a third neutral/ground wire. Now I am in the british education system and they are teaching us that alternating current only has one live wire and...
