My 4 stroke outboard was sitting about 2-3 months, it couldn't start again last week.
Then I disassemble the carburetor and want to clean it inside.
But badly, lot of corrosion inside the carburetor.
Can anyone tell me why it corrosion like this?
because I store the outboard beside the sea...
When i read the manual, it said if the valve face is too wide and narrow, it need to cut the valve seat to meet the specification.
I guess if the valve face too narrow, then the valve performance is not the best.
but i don't understand if the face too wide, what is the problem.
I am a outboard mechanic, when i change a new thermostat, i find out there have different temperature,
which is 50, 60,71 degree celsius.
can anyone teach me the reason of it?
i have a question, when i put a oil seal in a housing, should i put grease between the housing and the oil seal? because that is more easy to out in.
Can explain the theory to me please?
today i did a oil change on my outboard engine. i found out the oil is green, its normal? If yes, why the oil will be green color? because i fill the new oil is golden color.
