An apple is an edible fruit produced by an apple tree (Malus domestica). Apple trees are cultivated worldwide and are the most widely grown species in the genus Malus. The tree originated in Central Asia, where its wild ancestor, Malus sieversii, is still found. Apples have been grown for thousands of years in Asia and Europe and were brought to North America by European colonists. Apples have religious and mythological significance in many cultures, including Norse, Greek, and European Christian tradition.
Apples grown from seed tend to be very different from those of their parents, and the resultant fruit frequently lacks desired characteristics. Generally, apple cultivars are propagated by clonal grafting onto rootstocks. Apple trees grown without rootstocks tend to be larger and much slower to fruit after planting. Rootstocks are used to control the speed of growth and the size of the resulting tree, allowing for easier harvesting.
There are more than 7,500 cultivars of apples. Different cultivars are bred for various tastes and uses, including cooking, eating raw, and cider production. Trees and fruit are prone to fungal, bacterial, and pest problems, which can be controlled by a number of organic and non-organic means. In 2010, the fruit's genome was sequenced as part of research on disease control and selective breeding in apple production.
Worldwide production of apples in 2018 was 86 million tonnes, with China accounting for nearly half of the total.
I would get a newer surface, but i was plagued with the surface pen stops to write randomly ,and I am not alone. Since this issue even occurs on pro 9 models.

Greetings folks. I have noticed that a lot of people into physics and math tend to use Androids (Samsung, etc), so here is a poll to see if that is true. I like both operating systems, but currently use a lower range Android, but am planning on getting a mid-range Android from Samsung instead of...
Hello. Apologies, if this is already answered in other threads. Please redirect me, if that is the case.
Imagine an apple hanging from a tree. Will there be length contraction between the apple and the earth in the frame of reference of the earth, as well as of the apple?
All the best, Henrik
For this problem,
The solution is,
I agree with their solution from Archimedes principle, however, if I look at the equation ##PA = F##, where ##A = 4\pi r^2## and ##F## is the force over the entire apple assuming it is spherical. I thought the pressure will increase with depth and therefore I...
Hi it's my first post here!

Hi,
Back in the day, I remember my PC going from a x286 to a x386, to a x486, then pentium.
It was fairly easy to compare the changes, it was easy to notice the clock speed that was increasing, from 33Mhz for the x386 to the 300Mhz for the pentium.
In the recent years, we seem to be reaching...

How does apple pen II work
what is it’s principle , is the tip of pen same as optical mouse ?
how can apple pen get charged when mangenetically on iPad Pro .
thx for the help
Example: How much energy is needed to lift an 0.1 kg apple up 1 meter?
To hold a 0.1 kg apple against gravity needs 1 Newton of force:
F = mg
F = 0.1 kg × 9.8 m/s2
F ≈ 1 N
But holding an apple is not work, the apple needs to move!
So, raising it using 1 N for 1 m (both in same direction!)...

Hi PF!
I'm wondering if there is a way to customize the left-right shared screen keyboard shortcut on a Mac? It seems like all I can do is hover over the top-left of the green arrow to do this, no keyboard.
Thanks so much
I don't use Apple products that much - although, I have an old iPAD. My older family members do however and some aren't the most tech literate/savvy. They accidentally will click on ads.
Curious if there is a good ad blocker for Apple products that you'd recommend? Are these browser...
I am interested in the following thought experiment: an apple falls from a tree on Earth. Does the moon move (although slightly)? I can see an argument for it doing so—the center of mass of the Earth has moved slightly away from the moon, so the moon would feel a slightly smaller force and would...
it saids“if an apple is magnified to the size of the earth, then the atoms in the apple are approximately the size the size of the original apple”
then why the atoms in the apple are "approximately" the size the size of the original apple, but not equal?
So I have a phone interview at Apple tomorrow. Are there any tips on what part of statistics I should review?
I guess it wouldn't be helpful to do computations with matrix equations or derivations, but focus more on the concepts?
I suppose I can review linear regression and logistic...
So recently I asked a question about a model of gravity I saw. Turns out I was misinterpretating it, it was the wronv source to use.

When a mass is in a circular motion and suddenly gets released by its centripetal force, it will continue traveling in a straight path (tangent to the circle and perpendicular to the radius in the moment of release) if no other forces acting.
So let’s make a case: We have a space centrifuge...
so i take that the apple doesn't fall but that the ground acelerates up by relativity
this means the Earth inflates at a certain rate thing not noticed for the measure instrument inflates simultaneously
but we feel the inertia effects of the ground moving up making things fall and keeping us...
I have lived with Microsoft all my life and have had pretty much no interaction with Apple.
I want to know if Apple is any good and if it has any decent features to rival Windows features.
Could anyone help?
Why Is It That An Apple Will Fall On The Earth And Not That The Earth Will Live It Position And Move To Strike The Apple.is it just because that Earth has gravity. and Earth is a huge place very big material?

Is anyone else having problems with local storage on their iPhones after downloading Apple Music? I'm not even talking about the problems with my music files... which also is an issue. But my local storage has become so depleted that I can't even do basic app updates.
i was wondering, instead of thinking the apple was pulled down by some force to Earth , why didn't he think that there was a force pushed the apple down from above? , imagine when you leave in that particular year when he was alive.
I have searched here and a number of places online but I can't find an answer.

Computers were lame until Apple made them. Funny how Bill Gates says "[Microsoft and Apple] were the 2 companies that really got the graphics interface." yet he believes the future of a tablet computer will be "one where I can use the pen" ... That's what he said in 2010, 3 years after Apple...
How long would it take for an apple to fall to the Earth if it were as far away as the Moon and how do you calculate that?

I used to program in Microsoft Quickbasic before MS abandoned it. I wasn't too advanced - my best program was a variant on Minesweeper. That was ages ago, but I'd like to get back into programing.

When you drop a 400g apple, Earth exerts a force that accelerates it at -9.80m/s^2.
