We need to simulate certain schematics in MULTISIM but we are not able to do it since some of the ICs are not available in MULTISIM. We have got the spice models for some ICs. Will it be possible for anyone to help with the steps of importing spice models in MULTISIM?
Just wanted to give a shoutout to SchemDraw, a FOSS circuit schematic drawing package for Jupyter(Python), made by a PhD at Sandia Labs. It's purely drawing, not simulation of any kind, but given Python's numeric and symbolic superpowers it's easy enough to bolt-on that functionality.
If...
Does anyone have internal schematics (or illustration) how this thing work inside? Like how water flow can activate the conduction to the two wires connected?

Hi all,
for presentations/lectures and so on, I need to making drawings which make easier the comprehesion of the process I adopt for my research. Occasionaly, I draw flowcharts o something similar, which embed arrows, geometrical figures, plots (sometimes, I simplified a complex plots like...
Hello everyone!
Summer is coming and instead of buying a $200-$400 air conditioner, I'd figure I could try a DIY version. I came up with a schematic (attached below) and how I think it would work. I feel like I'm missing something blatantly obvious that will make it not feasible. Wondering if...
Does anybody know where to find schematics of the interior of modern processors for lithography? Not brand new, as far back as 32nm nodes? Or where to begin with this search?
Thank

The Attempt at a Solution
I am stuck on part E of this problem. This looks like a valid circuit, but I am struggling with KVL/KCL to prove it.
First can I say that the voltage across the 1 ohm resistor is 6V because it is in parallel...
I am looking for a book that explains and teaches you about how basic circuits components work together to perform a function. I know all the circuit components and their functions but I am not too sure of how they work together, for example I do not know how voltage dividers work in a circuit...
I know of multisim, but that is mostly fo rlow voltage applications. I need a schematics program like multisim, that has models of big transformer stations, current transformers, fuses, circuit breakers etc.
Anyone of you who knows of a tool like this?
The images represents circuits interfaced with an Arduino microcontroller.
The first image is a controller circuit for running a piezo buzzer. I understand the application of the transistor here, but am not sure why the resistor is present in parallel with the speaker.
The second...
Hello,
I'm working on a poster and senior thesis in materials science research and need to draw schematic diagrams of a few objects including:
-a PLD chamber
-Thin films
-XRD
-SEM
-energy diagrams
-a sin wave
I've downloads inkscape and have tried to draw in powerpoint so far. Are...
Hello everyone.
Is there a place online where there are electric drawings and schematics with descriptions of sequence of their work? Like a step-by-step on what's going on in the circuit. I really need to practice schematics reading and then check if I got the circuit right.
How about a...
Attached is a schematic of interest. Assume same voltage source and capacitance for each capacitor in each circuit.
Correct me if I'm wrong, it appears all circuitry comprises two basic types of connection: series and parallel. I'm trying to figure out an approach to determining whether a...

Could someone tell me what software was used to make these? I need to create similar schematics of a DAQ system but don't know the name of the program used to do it. Thanks.
i'm working on a packet that i need to finish immediately! quick responses would be appreciated! my question involves simplifying circuit problems. a complex circuit is shown, and it asks what the total resistance of the circuit is. i assumed that each wire coming from the junction represented...
Newb Questions -- One lead outputs from schematics?
Hey there PF, I just recently got into electrical engineering and created a voltage controlled oscillator and control voltage keyboard to go with it(the goal is a modular synthesizer). I've visited quite a few sites and learned a lot so far...
I'm toying around with the idea of writing a simulator, ideally for a less automated and relatively operator workload-heavy reactor like the pre-Chernobyl RBMK design (as watching a machine run itself is no fun), and I'm trying to find information on the function of an actual control room's...
Circuit schematics for "standard" parts
Hi, I graduated from computer engineering, but I want to learn more about circuits. I did get the chance to play with Quartus 2 in some of my courses and I was wondering if there is a place where I can learn about the circuit schematics for the most...
Hi!
I have a LC circuit in pspice schematics, i want to simulate graph: input voltage versus frequency,to see resonance voltage. To simulate at least something i must give power source (VAC) some value,so when i choose to trace voltage in power source at the graph, its the constant value...
I'm working with an instructor at the local community college to fix a bug in my first project, but he asked me to give him a schematic to look over before we meet in person. I know what resistors and the other simple stuff looks like, but I don't know the symbol for ICs and VRs.
Since the...
Hello all,
I'm completely new to Spice and B2 Spice. I'm analyzing the following circuit components from a circuit which as already been constructed and I'm at a loss as to what some of the connections mean.
In the first picture, I am not sure what type of connection is being made at OSC...
Does anybody know a good commercial book or free web tutorial
for learning to read and understand schematics respectively electronic circuits?
Thanks for help.
Hey Guys,
I have built circuits based on schematics before but this diagram, as it stands, is confusing. The IC is the 8284 Clock Signal Generator and I know the chip has a Vcc pin but according to the diagram, power is not connected to the Vcc pin but directly to ground. In fact that pin is...
I am looking to get detailed particle accelerator schematics.
Does anyone know where I can find This?
I am very interested in this stuff, and these cheesy youtube videos are not cutting it.
Is every cubic centimeter of the LHC documented somewhere?
is every cubic centimeter of any...
Ok so here is the deal, I am not 100% good at reading schematics and i work 2 jobs and don't have time to sit down and study all this just yet.
I swaped engines from one car to another. I have the engine harness schematics from both engines and both interior harness. The problem is wiring the...
I want to make my own small and simple walkie talkie with a range of 2Km or more. I can't find a small and simple schematic of that. I also want to make a cell phone jammer which will also be simple and small. I have a small knowledge and experience about electronics so suggest me a circuit...
Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum. I'm working on a senior project where we are using ultrasonic transducers at very high frequencies. Problem is we only have some weaker 25V power supplies to drive the transducers.
To fix this problem we were going to purchase a power amplifier but due to...
Hello everyone,
I'm looking for an program to do some rudimentary drawings of electrical circuits for an introductory electrical engineering course.
I have come across some proprietary ones that are either very bloated, and hard to use, or just plainly too expensive for me to consider...
Hi,
I am looking to build a basic spectrum analyzer (if that is what you would call it) out of some LED lights for a car stereo.
Basically, I want about 8 - 10 bars (for different frequency bands), and I want them to jump up and down to the music, giving it a direct feed off of the car...
Hi, I am just getting into building circuits. I have found a nice page with all the symbols: http://library.thinkquest.org/10784/circuit_symbols.html which has helped me some but I still get confused. The circuit I am talking in regards to is this...
Hey all.
I was wondering how most people learn how to read schematics of electrical circuits and such (apologies for the undoubtably inaccurate terminology, I'm ignorant of these subjects).
I understand some very very very basic fundamentals about electricity, mostly garnered from various...
