In summary, the conversation is about finding an alternative to GSView for Windows that can support continuous page scrolling, a hand cursor for dragging pages, and non-Win3.1-like buttons on the toolbar. The person has previously used IrfanView, but it does not support the desired version of GhostScript. Adobe Acrobat Pro is suggested as an alternative, but it is not freeware. The person may consider adding freeware to their list of desired features.

Can anyone recommend an alternative to GSView for Windows? (for reading postscript files)

Some features I'd like to see in addition to those supported by GSView are:
Continuous page scrolling
Hand cursor for dragging a page around
Non-Win3.1-like buttons on the toolbar

I've used IrfanView before, but it only supports AFPL version 8.54 of GhostScript and it was my hope to use the new 8.63 GPL GhostScript.

Thanks much,
~Matt

Adobe Acrobat Pro has all that -- but it's not freeware.

Hmm, perhaps I'll add Freeware to the list of sought features. Thanks though.
