What os are you using? Under unix you can use xdvi, under windows I just use miktex, which let's you preview it.

You can get MikTeX, which runs on all currently produced Windows OS's, for free along with WinEdt, a windows based graphical user interface.

I think there might be an easier way though. I believe there exist TeX readers for Windows... where they are, I do not know.
