In summary, citizen scientists are able to generate magnetic fields through various methods, including using DIY electromagnets, building magnetic levitation trains, and participating in global initiatives like the Citizen Science Magnetometer Network. These efforts not only contribute to scientific research and understanding of magnetic fields, but also empower individuals to engage with science and technology in a hands-on way. However, it is important to note that the strength and accuracy of these magnetic fields may vary and may not be as precise as those generated in professional settings. Overall, citizen scientists play a crucial role in expanding our knowledge of magnetic fields and their applications.

I am a citizen scientist looking at methods of creating magnetic fields.

I have a BS in electrical engineering and have been a life long tinker of circuits and machines
