In summary, helium gas can effectively cool electronic cards on satellites due to its low density and high thermal conductivity. It is able to dissipate heat quickly and efficiently, making it a suitable choice for cooling electronic components in space. However, care must be taken in the storage and handling of helium as it is a limited resource and can be expensive to obtain. Overall, helium gas is a viable option for cooling electronic cards on satellites, but it must be used responsibly.

Hi all,

I am a mechanical engineer and now I'm doing my master degree on design and manufacturing at Middle East Technical University. At the same time, I'm working on particles physics. We are designing a beam pipe for testing some electronic cards on the satalites. My responsibility is cooling of that system with a Helium Gas. So If someone interested on that subject pls contact me. Thank you in advance.
