In summary, intuition alone may not be enough to satisfy a scientist's curiosity. While intuition can provide insights and guide scientific inquiry, it is not a substitute for rigorous experimentation and evidence-based reasoning. Scientists must rely on a combination of intuition and empirical data in order to fully understand and explain the natural world. However, intuition can serve as a valuable starting point for scientific investigation and can lead to groundbreaking discoveries. Ultimately, a balance between intuition and evidence is necessary for a scientist to truly satisfy their curiosity.

Me: a standard 1966 model with an incurable inclination toward science and engineering DIY projects (both practical and impractical), but came unequipped with the optional math co-processor--a maddening combination. Sometimes intuition is not enough, and I just need quick academic answers... Also enjoy reading the discussions, ideas, and insights of like-minded folks.
