Can Mass Really Be Converted into Energy?

In summary, the concept of converting mass into energy is based on Einstein's famous equation, E=mc^2. This theory states that mass and energy are interchangeable and can be converted into each other. However, the process of converting mass into energy is not a simple task and requires a huge amount of energy and advanced technology. It has been successfully demonstrated through nuclear reactions, but it is not yet possible to convert mass into energy on a large scale. Further research and advancements in technology may eventually make this process feasible, but for now, it remains a theoretical concept.

Hi shivam vaish, welcome to PF!

All questions must be asked in the proper forum. But the question you are asking here is quite broad, and can't be answered simply. Therefore, we require you do a bit of research first, and come back with more pointed questions, if you still have them. A starting point might be https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass–energy_equivalence
