Can Non-Experts Contribute to Scientific Discussions?

In summary, non-experts can contribute to scientific discussions by providing diverse perspectives and asking critical questions that may challenge and improve current understanding. However, their contributions should be evaluated and supported by evidence-based research and expertise from professionals in the field. Non-experts can also play a valuable role in communicating scientific information to the general public and bridging the gap between scientists and society. Overall, while non-experts may not have the same level of knowledge and experience as experts, their contributions can still be valuable in advancing the conversation and promoting scientific literacy.

Hi Everyone
I am hoping to get some feedback on a silly idea I had - and I am generally interested and genuinely interested in many of the topics discussed here.
As a lawyer, my maths is not that great.
As an entrepreneur, my ideas are normally OK.

Cheers

Steve from South Australia
