In summary, the conversation discusses the concept of something existing without our ability to detect it. It explores the idea of an "unobservable universe" and the use of indirect evidence and mathematical models to infer the existence of unobservable phenomena. The possibility of other dimensions or realms beyond our perception is also mentioned, as well as the philosophical debate on whether something can exist without physical properties. The significance of discussing these ideas lies in expanding our understanding of the universe and pushing the boundaries of our current knowledge and technology.

can something exist without us ever being able to detect it ??

as the title states , can something exist without us knowing it does ?
what if there are other types of particles , maybe even objects that exist , but we do not know they do due to our inability to interact with them ? were there any such particles that scientists found or predicted ??
can we devise machines or tools to know their existence even though we can't interact with them at the mean time ?

Related to Can something exist without us ever being able to detect it ?

1. Can something exist without us ever being able to detect it?

Yes, it is possible for something to exist without us being able to detect it. This is known as the "unobservable universe" and it includes things such as dark matter and energy that we currently cannot measure or detect with our current technology.

2. How do we know if something exists if we can't detect it?

Scientists use indirect evidence and mathematical models to infer the existence of unobservable phenomena. They also continue to develop new technology and techniques to potentially detect these entities in the future.

3. Could there be other dimensions or realms that we are unable to detect?

Yes, according to some theories in physics, there could be multiple dimensions or parallel universes that exist beyond our perception. However, there is currently no concrete evidence to support this idea.

4. Is it possible for something to exist without any physical properties or characteristics?

This is a philosophical question that has been debated for centuries. Some argue that existence requires some sort of physical manifestation, while others believe that abstract concepts or ideas can also be considered as existing without physical properties.

5. What is the significance of discussing things that may exist but we cannot detect?

Studying the possibility of unobservable entities can help us expand our understanding of the universe and challenge our current theories and beliefs. It also highlights the limitations of our current technology and the potential for future advancements.
