Where is the 'So you want to be a physicist?' thread ? I can't find it for the life of me (as a side note, the search function is pretty bad).

That's our sister site. Greg owns that one too. I'm glad it's preserved there!franznietzsche said:
But why?
I found bits floating around the net over at a site called PhysicsPost
edit: Which links back to here under forums...huh.

The whole thing is there, it is about half-way down. Look at the posts made at 1-31-2006
I think he'd be okay with that. You can always ask to be sure.franznietzsche said:Oh, ok. Thanks. I'm going to grab that and archive it, since its just the google cache. I'm assuming of course that ZapperZ wouldn't object to that, even though he deleted the thread?
Well, we do have Jeff running around singing It's a Small World everywhere now. I always looked forward to the Disney updates. I want it back too!Evo said:We need to restore the Disney Thread. Who wants the Disney Thread back? That was the the one place I could go every day that would make me smile. GD isn't as cheery anymore.
Zz deleted the So you want to be a physicist thread

Its a Stephen King book!Lisa said:What's the matter? He's also deleted his journal...
I was surprised! And Greg owns it too? See, this cannot be spoken of again, because we all thought we were special. As he says in his manual for hosting web forums, you must make every forum feel like they are his only one. It never occurred to me that physicsforums was not his only success! I mean he did have a bunch of failures that would follow us around as a little nav bar at the top of the page about two years ago..franzneitchüzjalksdfjlka said:We have a sister site? I wonder what happened to Zz.Evo said:We need to restore the Disney Thread. Who wants the Disney Thread back? That was the the one place I could go every day that would make me smile. GD isn't as cheery anymore.
