Closed Threads: Did I Do Something Wrong?

In summary, the conversation revolved around the confusion over the "bomb" images on the website, which were meant to be little people. The original poster mistook them for closed threads and had trouble finding the post reply button. Others in the conversation also shared their initial confusion over the images.

Ooops... I mistook the "bomb" image to mean closed. And then I'm more used to the "post reply" button being on the right, instead of the left so I couldn't find it. Stupid mistake. :(

Oh! They're supposed to be little people. But, now I see how they could be confused with little bombs.

Ye gads, I had to stare at it for a minute before I could even imagine how it resembled a person!

FAQ: Closed Threads: Did I Do Something Wrong?

What is a closed thread?

A closed thread is a discussion or conversation that has been ended by a moderator or administrator. This means that no further comments or replies can be made.

Why was my thread closed?

Threads can be closed for a variety of reasons, including violation of forum rules, repetitive or off-topic discussions, or to prevent further arguments or conflicts.

Can I still view a closed thread?

Yes, closed threads can still be viewed by anyone, but no new comments or replies can be added.

What should I do if I feel my thread was closed unfairly?

You can reach out to the moderator or administrator of the forum to discuss the closure of your thread. They may provide an explanation or reconsider the closure if they determine it was done in error.

Can a closed thread be reopened?

In some cases, a closed thread can be reopened by a moderator or administrator. This may happen if the issue has been resolved or if new information or perspectives are brought to light. However, it is ultimately at the discretion of the forum's moderators.
