Could a Hidden Temporal Dimension Explain Quantum Randomness and Entropy?

In summary, the article explores the idea that a hidden temporal dimension might account for the randomness observed in quantum mechanics and the behavior of entropy. It suggests that traditional interpretations of quantum randomness could be reconciled with deterministic laws by positing an additional dimension of time that influences particle interactions. This perspective aims to provide a deeper understanding of quantum phenomena and their implications for the nature of reality, potentially bridging gaps between quantum theory and classical physics.

It seems possible to me that the apparent randomness in Quantum Mechanics could be the result of another time like dimension opposing ours and canceling out the laws of entropy. Furthermore, this could also explain Relativistic effects and preserve the arrow of time. It could possibly be a compactified temporal dimension who's influence increases with the energy and isolation of the system being studied.Anyone know of such theories or reasons why they might be impossible? When in trouble,When in doubt,Run in circles,Scream & Shout!

I don't see how"canceling out the laws of entropy" would result in "apparent randomness inQuantum Mechanics". It IS the laws of entropy that give apparent randomness in macro phenomenon and its well known that the laws of entropy do not apply to micro phenomenon.Just throwing out "maybe there is some other dimension" without givingany idea as to HOW it would "cancel out" anything is not a theory.

You can delete your post LQG because I did not throw this out in deference to your avatar.quote:Just throwing out "maybe there is some other dimension" without givingany idea as to HOW it would "cancel out" anything is not a theory.Exactly, I asked if anyone knew of theories along these lines. I did not claim to be creating theory.quote:Does the fact that it simply doesn't make sense count? The laws of entropy and causality still apply no matter what the scale. If you have proof to the contrary I'd like to see it.When in trouble,When in doubt,Run in circles,Scream & Shout!
