In summary, Fred accidentally lased his eye with a Class 111A laser level while removing it from the wall, resulting in a mild eye-ache. Despite the short duration of the exposure, there are no visible signs of damage. It is recommended that Fred seek professional medical advice.

Could be over reacting here but since I know nothing of lasers:
I lased my eye accidently with a laser level, http://www.homedepot.com/buy/tools-hardware/hand-tools/strait-line/laser-level-114624.html, it is a CLASS 111A labled with a DANGER label.

I stuck it to wall and when I pulled it off the laser glanced my eye. Probably < 1/2 sec but do have a very mild eye-ache.

From what I read it takes more time for this class, but I was surprised by such a short glance it affected my eye. No red spot or visual signs.

Thanks for your time,
Fred
