    Symbols
In summary, the conversation discusses the identification of two process diagram symbols, one of which is a circle and the other is two triangles in an unfamiliar orientation. The context of these symbols is unclear and more information is needed, such as the discipline in which they are used and any accompanying text or letters. It is mentioned that the symbols are used in instrument systems, but further clarification is needed on the specific type of system and the country in which it is used.

You should give more context. What discipline (electrical, process/mechanical?) is it? Is there any supporting text or letters associated with those symbols?

The circle could be pretty much anything, depending on the type of diagram. I've never seen the triangles in that orientation before. Are these repeated patterns along lines or one-off symbols?

These are instrument symbols

That isn't helpful. You need to provide more information on what type of system the symbols are used in. The circle could be anything from a wall outlet, to a mechanical coupling, to a pipe turning out of the page (and more). What country is this system used in, I've never seen the triangles used in North America (that's not to say they aren't).

FAQ: Could some please tell me what these two symbols are

What does the first symbol look like?

The first symbol appears to be an upward facing arrow with a horizontal line crossing through it. It may represent an increase or progress.

Is the second symbol a letter or a shape?

The second symbol is a combination of a circle and a triangle, which can be interpreted as a geometric shape. It does not appear to be a letter.

Are these symbols from a specific language or culture?

It is difficult to determine the origin of these symbols without more context. They could be from a specific language or culture, but they could also be universal symbols with various interpretations.

Do these symbols have a specific meaning or can they be interpreted differently?

Symbols can often have multiple meanings, so it is possible that these two symbols can be interpreted differently by different people. It's important to understand the context in which they are being used to fully understand their meaning.

Can these symbols be used in scientific or mathematical contexts?

It is possible that these symbols could be used in scientific or mathematical contexts, but without more information it is difficult to determine their exact use and meaning. It may be helpful to consult with an expert in the field for a more accurate interpretation.
