Does a siphon's function is affected by its level of immersion??
Hello. Can anybody tells me does a siphon's function is affected by its level of immersion(below the surface of water) at the higher level reservoir/beaker? I know two containers must be placed at different levels, one is higher and the other is lower. I mean if the level of immersion of the higher reservoir is deep, the pressure equation hpg is applied and water is drained at higher speed due to high pressure, isn't it?
Thanks for the help.
