I was actually going through the concept of inlet flow distortion. I would like to what is the concept of inlet flow distortion?


The Attempt at a Solution


According to me, i feel that inlet vortex can happen when the air flow towards the inlet is too high separating the boundary layer of the air from the inlet wall. This low pressure air then turns back forming vortex. I don't know if this is correct.
