In summary: Does that make it the only country that was not occupied? In summary, Tibet or Bhutan could be the country described in the conversation. The Vatican has almost no native plant life. Thailand is the only Asian country never to have been occupied by a foreign power. The US has the highest percentage of its population incarcerated. Algeria and Djibouti have capital cities with names similar to their respective countries. Greenland and Iceland are also possible answers for #2, and Tunisia could also be a correct answer for #5.

Please answer the questions in [color="#black"].

1) Which country, about the size of Switzerland, has the world's highest unclimbed peak, has normally only one airplane in the country at any given time, has a population living in large houses where people eat lots of peppers and some beef and pork - although the religion prohibits killing animals within the country, has thousands of dogs allowed to bark all night so they can scare off evil spirits, has millions of marijuana plants growing wild, has no civil unrest or international enemies, has a national religion, which is a highly sexual form of Buddhism, and is a place where by law, almost everyone wears a robe, the men often adding argyle socks and dress shoes, while many elderly people climb mountains barefoot?

If no one can guess them all, each correct answer is worth 20 points, so highest scorer wins. In the case of a tie, the member that sends me the most dark chocolate wins.

Going with the obvious guess for #2) Greenland

For #5) a third acceptable answer might be Tunis?

  • #10
Gokul, yes #5 was the other answer.

For #2, think about a country that has imported most of their plant life.

1. Bhutan
2. Iceland. I know it's an island! If not, maybe great britain?
3.
4. US (Common Knowledge)
5. Tunis (Tunisia) & Algiers (Algeria)

final answer.

Thailand was invaded by Japan in ww2. It was after some brief fighting that Thailand decided to allow japan passage and joined them in a military alliance. Basically a vassal state as far as I can see it. Even tried to declare war on the US, but then internal fighting started and it never got delivered.

2.Antartica. Not a country, but relatively very little native plant life.
3. IIRC not all of China was occupied by Japan (mostly the costal areas). Large parts were still under Chineese control.
