Hello me im new to physics and dont know what to do

In summary, the first step in learning physics is to familiarize yourself with the basic concepts and principles, as well as have a good understanding of mathematical concepts. Helpful resources for beginners in physics include textbooks, online tutorials, and attending classes or joining study groups. To practice and improve understanding, it is important to solve problems and work on real-life examples. Common misconceptions about physics include that it is only for geniuses or involves only equations, when in reality anyone can learn and understand it. Physics can be applied to everyday life in various ways, such as understanding how objects move and interact, how energy is transferred, and how technology works.

Starting from rest at the top, a child slides down the water slide at a swimming pool and enters the water at a final speed of 5.00 m/s. At what final speed would the child enter the water if the water slide were twice as high? Ignore friction and resistance from the air and the water lubricating the slide.

Please help ASAP if you can

Thanks very much

Use energy of conservation. Potential energy at top of slide = kinetic energy at bottom. Use the formulas for PE and KE to get final velocity.
