How did you find PF?
I found PF when doing a search for information as to why a syphon system I was developing was forming a gas bubble in the tube.
Several years ago I found your thread (now inactive) called "How can I get rid of air buildup in a syphon system". I am not a physicist, I am a tool and die maker and it really helped me get a better understanding of the problem and confirm what I was seeing. Since then, I have developed a mechanism that regulates the flow and deals with the gas build up problem.
I'm looking forward to more discussions!

Welcome to the forum.

Hi everyone, I'm just a physics enthusiast. I took some first-year courses a long time ago, but I wasn't able to continue, so I don't have a degree. Still, I'm really passionate about the subject and try to keep up with it as much as I can. I mostly study in my (limited) free time, going through books I didn’t get the chance to read when I was younger. Thanks for your attention!
