In summary, the person is having trouble attaching pictures to their messages because they don't know the pixel size of their attached file. They are asking for advice on how to find out the pixel size and how to reduce it if it is larger than the limit. They also mention that any image editor or Windows XP can provide a summary of the image size in pixels and allow for resizing. They also suggest using Adobe's Photoshop Elements 2.0 for image processing.

I have a problem when attaching pics to my messages. I can't know about the pixel size of my attached file. How can I know it? And how can I reduce it if it is larger than the limit?

Any image editor worthy of the categorization will tell you how big it is and allow you to crop it.

Windows XP will give a summary of image size by pixels ( width x height) and it will allow one to resize without using an editor.

In Win2K, one can [right click with mouse, Select Properties, and Select 'Summary' Tab] and read the width and height in pixels.

Can't help you on Mac OSX.

For image processing, an relatively inexpensive on is Adobe's Photoshop Elements 2.0. PE can handle very large files.
