In the early days of Covid-19, these were recommendations for everyone. I still follow them whereas others have chosen to live free and run the risk of getting Covid.

Nope, nope, nope. The Lost In Space robot was an early prototype of Robby. I'm not sure how the timelines line up, though -- there may have been some time travel involved.

The true history is the designer of Robby and the Lost in Space robot is the same person, Robert Kinoshita. He was a wahing machine engineer prior to working in Hollywood.

Robby came first in the 1950's and Robot from Lost in Space came in the 1960's

He's my YOUNGER brother from another other.

Click on "MY PF" at the upper right of the page, and click on your avatar to Edit it. I think that should work for you.

So many topics emerging in just one sequence of posts from a mere "Hello, here I am" topic. But on this question of the avatar, are we able to both put in a chosen avatar and then later remove the avatar, and thereby return to the generic one which the PF system gave each of us originally?

Yeah, I think if you "delete" the avatar, it goes back to some generic one.
