In summary, the internet is a rich source of information for people. It has helped people become more connected and less disconnected than ever before. It is also a great way to stay in touch with friends and family.

It seems to me that the internet is quite important to most people i know at school and at work. I think something sociological is happening within human society like no other time in the past. Pehaps people are become more connented, or rather more disconnect because of this new technology. With me, i think i can count the number of things i do online. i still perfer using the phone than emil.

I visit about a 1000 websites a day, maybe spending just 5 seconds on each or 5 minutes on one, but overall on average its about a 1000. Plus I listen to music, and occasionally, although rare, someone aims me.

The internet is so rich in information, there is just no time to absorb it all, if i
had one wish it would be that i could rememer all i read, the internet is a trap
for the currious, one that i gladly fall into, i wish i could know it all, but i never will, one day someone will remember it all and solve all the mysteries of the universe. enter stage right sir/madam.

I know that feeling wolram. Whenever I have nothing to do I hop on the internet and just explore. There is so much information out there and so many interesting things to learn. I also post on a fair few forums, but don't chat with anyone, I'd rather use the phone for that.

Lately I have been selling on Ebay. It's amazing the stuff people will buy when time is running out. Haven't done too bad on it either  I research a lot of new ideas for meals too. Love to cook with my husband so we are always trying to find something different to eat. I spend some time online paying bills too. Don't chat much anymore, my baby takes up any extra free time I have. PF and reading the news are also things I do online.

I check my work e-mail. Then I go to MySpace to keep in touch with friends. Check my personal e-mail on occasion. Hang out here on PF mostly. Read news articles. Research what ever odd things that might strike my fancy. Sometimes I'll buy certain things that I can't find in real stores, mostly music and books. I used to listen to net radio but the computer won't let me any more. That's about it.

A better question would be: What don't I do on the internet?

Surfing ( Pirated, so I don't pay )

Download everything ( Bit Torrent and others)

I don't do internet banking, way too unsafe with my pirated internet.

I get most of my news either from the internet or from radio, I browse the forums at least briefly on most days (usually this and Lakers Ground to see if anyone has insider news on the Lakers), but most of my time is spent on fantasy sports and sports news/commentary. The readings and assignments for my classes are often given to us online as well, and I keep in touch with my family through e-mail, since I don't have a phone. I almost never use IM, except to talk to Shannon when she's in the next room.
