So to the students or former students who are in electrical engineering majors, how many hours per week outside of class do you study? Or did you?
The actual numbers depend on the person and the class. For the easy ones, I could get away with almost no studying 'til the exam and then pull an allnighter. That scheme didn't work quite so well for the hard ones, though I still passed. Well done senior projects are generally a massive time sink.Leptos said:The rule is two hours of study time per hour of instruction
The amount of time spent studying for an electrical engineering degree can vary depending on the individual and their study habits. However, on average, most students spend around 15-20 hours per week studying for their degree.
Yes, studying for an electrical engineering degree can be more time-consuming compared to other degrees due to the complex nature of the subject and the amount of hands-on work and problem-solving involved.
