The Australian National Chemistry Quiz is an opportunity for school aged students to engage in chemistry questions and problems. I have entered it and want to achieve the best result. How do you think I should prepare? For more info visit http://schools.raci.org.au/competition/ancq/

1. Familiarize yourself with the types of questions that are asked in the quiz. Read up on the topics covered by the quiz and practice answering questions related to these topics. 2. Practice using scientific calculators. Learn how to use it to compute equations and calculations, and use it to become more comfortable with manipulating numbers.3. Study the periodic table. Learn the elements and their properties, including atomic number, atomic mass, and reactivity. 4. Review the fundamentals of chemistry, such as chemical formulas, reactions, and stoichiometry.5. Practice problem solving skills. Take some time to practice working through chemistry questions and problems. 6. Develop strategies for quickly and accurately solving problems and questions. 7. Take practice tests to get an idea of what the quiz will be like.8. Ask your teacher or a tutor for help. They can provide valuable advice and guidance on how to best prepare for the quiz.
