You can buy virtually every oldies shows on DVD these days but Leave it to Beaver remains unavailable :frown:

I grew up watching this show--I watched it every weekday at lunch time (re-runs... I'm not that old :-p) for the entirety of my public education.

The show has a special place with me. I watched many old show re-runs as a kid (my father loved them as he grew up watching them) such as: Batman, Gilligan's Island(sp?), Andy Griffith and others. But the only show I can still watch and enjoy over and over is Leave it to Beaver!

Who else enjoys this show? :D

We should start an online petition to get it available on DVD or something
   (if one doesn't already exist).

I may have to pickup a TIVO and see if the TVLand channel still runs it

Golly Wally, I grew up with the Beav. I remember hearing that Eddie Haskell ended up working as a cop for the LAPD.

...in fact, I checked and this is interesting.
Osmond, who as a child-actor became memorable as the wise-cracking Eddie Haskell, went on to a real life career as one of the "good guys", whose job is "to Protect and To Serve." He served an 18-year career with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). During his time on the force he worked in vice, narcotics and as a motorcycle officer. He retired after getting hit with three bullets while in a foot chase with a suspected car thief.

Babs was great in Airplane! too.

MIH, that's really how she talked. The LITB thing was completely out of character for her.

Heheh, she was good in that movie.

I have to admit though, I've never been a fan of the beaver.

Just got here, honey. Been busy. I, of course, am a fan of the beaver. Evo is more appropriately a fan of the turtle.

You'd think Evo would have learned to watch what she says around him. I mean really. Thats not even going to be subtle.
