In summary: Windows to play them. In summary, due to popular demand, I've combined my skills as a professional musician with my skills as an elite webmaster, and have put some of my legendary music on a website for your listening pleasure. All songs are copyrighted to Adam & James, one of whom is me. Break the rules and I'll send a big man round to break your face.

Due to popular demand (ic asked me once), I've managed to combine my skills as a professional musician with my skills as an elite webmaster, and have put some of my legendary music on a website for your listening pleasure.

http://personalpages.umist.ac.uk/student/E.Smith-2/ Edit: Linky no-worky, sorry. See later post.

By visiting the above link, you agree not to abuse my music, slag me off, or tell my uni that I've put my own wonderful music on their site. All songs are copyrighted to Adam & James, one of whom is me. Break the rules and I'll send a big man round to break your face.

Am I allowed to do this?

Edit: Hmm, I think uni noticed already. Any recommendations for easy, free webspace, which allows mp3 hosting above 5MB?!

Very ... erm ... intriguing

On a more serious note though, I did like the riff in the Legend of Anthronia, but I'm not a fan of a cappella type stuff, and would've liked some more layers and progression.

Nice recording though.

www.rapidshare.de[/URL] Tada! Hope this one's better. Sorry about the other one, if I'd bothered listening to more than ten seconds of my band's files on there I could've warned you they don't give you much space.

Thanks ic, let's see if this works! Same rules apply as before.

http://rapidshare.de/files/1845348/01_Christmas_Time_with_Adam___James.mp3.html - A wonderful, melodic, festive ditty, summarising the joys of the Yuletide season.

http://rapidshare.de/files/1845397/06_Space_Renegades.mp3.html - A true story about our journey through space, in our Space Faring Adventure Pod.

http://rapidshare.de/files/1845550/06_Legend_Of_Anthronia.mp3.html - Telling the tale of the creation of the universe, man, and Coca Cola.

http://rapidshare.de/files/1845616/08_Pirates_of_Dark_Seas.mp3.html - A Pirate Rap. Remember John Barnes' legendary football rap? This is similar, but it's about pirates, and it's not as good. I wrote this song for Gale17*, we all know how much she likes pirates.

If anyone approves, I might put some more up.

God, my computer is sooooooooo...slooooooooooooooow... Doesn't it know I'm the most impatient girl in the world? I thought it was my friend. Estimated time left 21 bloody minutes?? And everything else goes slow too when it's downloading, I'm scared to even post this cos the lousy thing'll probably blow up if I dare to do two things at once. Humph.

Yay! That was great! I could only be bothered to download 'Christmas Time with Adam and James' but it was truly a masterpiece and I look forward to hearing more when I can be bothered.

Seriously though, I really liked the way you combined the archipalegios with the double entendres, it added a wonderful melancholic twist to the middle eight. And the Dmin.sus.dim was a stroke of genius  (<--That will have to do for 'dead-pan smiley'.)

Yeah, we recorded that a few years ago when I first got my 8-track, and didn't know what any of the buttons were for. It took hours. We've got big plans for that one...!

Wow, that's possibly the most descriptive review we've had yet. I had to go back and listen to it myself just to work out what you're on about! Normally people usually just say "these guys are twunts" or "what the fegg is this shizit?"

In case you're wondering: Adam's the bad singer, I'm the terrible singer.

It would be a good idea that other members put songs or speeches available for downloading. I've always wondered about the voice of the other members...

I truly enjoyed that! I listened to them all.
Space Renegades just made me laugh{glad you excaped} And the music reminded me of playing my old ARP2600..sometimes I miss the old analog days.
While the Pirates song was fun, I liked the Christmas song the best.

Okay, I finally remembered to d/l these while I'm at the office (it would have taken a lifetime to do this from home). I have to wait another hour before I can d/l the last one (seems to be some limits on how much you can d/l at a time on that site you're using). Just finished listening to Space Renegades! LOL! Reminds me of the stuff some friends of my used to play.

I'm now playing Pirates of the Dark Seas. I like the sound already. Sort of rock meets gypsy. Though, you guys have to try to not laugh while singing.

Glad you, urm, like it!

Anyway. You try singing "polish my peg-leg if it ain't too weird" without laughing!

Pirate rap. It's the best kind of rap. Except maybe French rap.
