Looking for an expert with .VOB and audio files

In summary, the conversation is about how to export audio from a .VOB file and have it match the video. The person speaking is able to export 6 tracks of audio from a stereo .VOB file, but the audio comes out slightly longer than the .VOB file due to a difference in frame rate. They are looking for a solution to get the audio to match up, such as using conversion utilities or adjusting the audio clock rate.

Does anybody know how to export audio from a .VOB file and still have it match the video?

I'm able to export 6 tracks of audio from a stereo .VOB file but (perhaps because of a difference in frame rate) the audio comes out slightly longer than the .VOB file and I can't get it to match up.

Anybody know how to get around this?

Thank you!

What are you trying to do?
Pal to NTSC conversion or something?

There are conversion utilities that do a fair job.
Or you can just pad in or cut a couple of frames.
Or change the audio clock rate slightly.

Hi there,

I am an expert in working with .VOB and audio files and I would be happy to assist you with exporting audio from a .VOB file while keeping it in sync with the video.

First, it is important to make sure that the frame rate of your audio and video files match. If there is a difference in frame rate, it can cause the audio to be slightly longer or shorter than the video. You can use a video editing software to check and adjust the frame rate if needed.

If the frame rate is already matching and you are still experiencing issues, there are a few other steps you can try. One option is to use a video converter tool to extract the audio from the .VOB file and then reimport it into your editing software. This can sometimes help with syncing issues.

Another option is to try using a different video editing software. Some programs may handle .VOB files differently, so switching to a different one may solve the problem.

I hope these suggestions help and you are able to successfully export your audio from the .VOB file and have it match the video. Let me know if you have any further questions or need any additional assistance. Best of luck!
