In summary, the speaker is a fan of Prof. M.Kaku and wants to study virtual reality, but is unsure which course to take. They have searched the web and found virtual reality to be a broad subject, and have concerns about the reality of working in the field based on popularized presentations of science.

This is my first thread; and I seriously wanted to know what course I should go for.
I'm a "fanboy" of Prof. M.Kaku.
I want to study about virtual reality(mostly inspired by him).
But I've searched through the web and it seems to me that virtual reality is a broad subject.
So I have no idea on which course I should go for and I am going to graduate from high school soon

If you're going into "virtual reality" based on what Michio Kaku says, then I would definitely think twice. Michio Kaku popularizes sciences, which usually means that he presents science in a very different way than how it is usually done. Science is a lot of grunt work and a lot of math. You have to realize that science might be very different than all the things you've read about it.
