Dear all, hope you are doing great. I am designing a circuit using EasyEDA simulation tool. But I am facing a problem after connecting the relay to the single-Chip IC (STM32 103RTC6). The low voltage is showing around 2V, whereas it was originally supposed to be 0 volts. I am still unable to understand why it is, so I need your help, please.

I see from your thread about this in the allaboutcircuits forum that you will be able to share the schematic tomorrow. Don't worry if parts of it are in Chinese -- a schematic uses symbols and numbers for most of the information.

I also see from that other thread that you are a student there, so I've moved your thread to the schoolwork forums for you.

Thank you So much sir for your kindness and help. As the other mentor gave me some suggestions, I am working on it. If I didn't resolve my problem, then I will upload my query again here. Thank you, again dear Sir.

Dear all, hope you are doing great. I have been working diligently on the hardware issue, but unfortunately, I have been unable to resolve it. After connecting the relay to the single-Chip IC (STM32 103RTC6), I noticed that there is a disturbance in the voltages. I have attached my schematic files for your review. Could you please take a look at them and let me know if you see any potential faults or issues? I would greatly appreciate your expertise and guidance on this matter. Thank you once again for your time and consideration.

FAQ: Low Voltage level problem in STM32 system chip

What causes low voltage level problems in STM32 system chips?

Low voltage level problems in STM32 system chips can be caused by several factors, including insufficient power supply voltage, excessive current draw from peripherals, incorrect power management settings, or faulty components. Additionally, environmental conditions such as temperature can also impact voltage levels.

How can I measure the voltage levels in my STM32 system?

You can measure the voltage levels in your STM32 system using a multimeter or an oscilloscope. Connect the probes of the measuring device to the relevant points in the circuit, such as the power supply pins or GPIO pins, to check if the voltage levels are within the specified range.

What are the symptoms of low voltage level issues in an STM32 system?

Symptoms of low voltage level issues in an STM32 system may include unexpected resets, erratic behavior of the microcontroller, failure to initialize peripherals, or complete system failure. The system may also exhibit reduced performance or incorrect operation of connected devices.

How can I troubleshoot low voltage level issues in my STM32 system?

Troubleshooting low voltage level issues involves checking the power supply voltage, verifying connections and solder joints, ensuring that the correct power management settings are configured, and measuring current draw from peripherals. Additionally, you can check for shorts or component failures on the board.

What design considerations can help prevent low voltage level problems in STM32 systems?

To prevent low voltage level problems, ensure that the power supply is adequately rated for the system's needs, use decoupling capacitors close to power pins, implement proper power management techniques, and design for thermal management. It's also essential to consider the current requirements of all connected peripherals during the design phase.
